Be sure to give cakes ample time to defrost. They will require about 8 hours in refrigerator, or 1 to 2 hours at room temperature to defrost.

When slicing cakes, we recommend slicing them while still slightly frozen using a chef’s knife dipped into hot water and wiped clean between each slice.
